Mintpad could be the smallest Android device yet!

Looks like Archos and Dell aren’t the only ones releasing Mobile Internet Devices (MID) based on Android.

The Mirror is reporting about the world’s smallest Android device called “mintpad” is being developed for release.  The device will sport a 2.8inch screen, GPS, Wifi, and will allow playback of plenty different file formats.

If they can keep the price down, then this could pose a major threat to the Archos MID which is also due out later this year.

Its great to see the platform being tried on all sorts of hardware and if they hit the right price point ( sub £100 ) they could have a surefire hit.
