The Android Network Awards voting has officially started and we would urge you all to go and vote for your favourite Android Application here.

I personally love the list as it allows me to pick up some other new popular applications that I would not have otherwise found.  Unfortunately some of them are not available in the UK just yet however there are still loads of great new applications to explore and use.   Some highligts from the list were apps like  3Banana and Copilot GPS which I would urge you all to try out as they  really blew me away.

The awards have also encouraged me to look again at some other applications which would otherwise have remained uninstalled from my telephone such as the amazing chompsms and Handcent Sms. These products have really advanced hugely  since I last tried them several months ago and now are actually very good rivals to the standard Google sms program.

I hope that most of you will try out the software before voting and give a genuine effort to judge the applications fairly and only once per category.
