Have you bothered to look at Vodafone's terms and conditions? If you do, you will feel silly to promote this so blindly.

Whether you win the 1000 BP or not, you sign off the rights to your idea Vodafone, AND you agree to fully indemnify them should there be ANY problems with intellectual property rights.

Say that you have a nice idea and send it to them; if it does not win they do not even give you a prize, but they can write the program nonetheless if the idea was good. Then they can start raking in the money, leaving you out of the loop, but if the program steps on a submarine patent in the US, you cand find you own millions of dollars to Vodafone. You are broke, for good. You got nothing. They sail free.

Nice move, Vodafone. And you, is it not embarrasing to be so gullible?
