Android Rocks London’s Trafalgar Square

Fourth plinth

I am not sure if its because of  the good weather we are having or the impending release of  of the Samsung Galaxy but Androids seem to be all over the London at moment.  In the latest sighting, tourists in London’s Trafalgar Square yesterday were greeted by a life size Android grooving along to rock tunes atop the 4th Plinth.

I don’t know about you all, but I am pretty impressed with his moves- very smooth and no lag at all.  I can also confirm that no apples were thrown so London must have been genuinely impressed by Android’s performance too. ( bad pun- Sorry!)

Seriously, for those of you that don’t know that the vacant 4th Plinth (bit that the statue stands on) is currently occupied by the One & Other Project.  This art piece is the youtube equivalent of  living statues allowing the general public to apply to be on display on the 4th Plinth for up to an hour.  This project hasn’t been without its controversies, playing host to princesses, naked people and now Android.

Here is the link to video of the Android-enabled 4th Plinth

Enjoy!
