Android updates for Nexus and Hero. What to look forward to.
Looks like its a super Tuesday for Android as many owners are going to be waking up to the welcome sign of the android update screen.
For Nexus one owners, the most leaked and most awesome android release (android 2.2) to date will finally be rolling out over the air. For UK Customers:
We are still waiting on official confirmation from Vodafone if UK Nexus One owners will be receiving it, however I have been lead to believe that its not long now. With the update from 2.1 to 2.2 being such a short jump, hopefully HTC Desire owners will soon also be able to look forward to the release within the next month or two.

Super Htc Hero update too!
We are also very excited to see that finally the HTC Hero ( and G2 touch owners) will be able to install some of the best apps which have hitherto only been available to Android 2.1 owners. Choice apps include:
- Evernote
- Google Earth for mobile (update: unfortunately CPU is not compatible as yet!- thanks Tomas!)
- Springpad
- Adobe pdf Reader for mobile

Thanks for the catch. The Droid/Milestone and nexus , both are arm v7 devices whereas the hero is an Arm v6 device so its unlikely to come to it, barring them recoding the app.
