My wife also has an Iphone, and I will consider the Google phone perfect the day she asks to use it without complaining. So far 1.5 and 1.6 is a failure on the test- I am hoping 2.0 will fair better.

I would love to have multi-touch- it is the one compelling UI thing that really makes the Iphone so usable. Being able to grasp things is a very natural way for the brain to comprehend something.

Multi touch would be a big boon, especially on webpages, I find the in/out buttons a little random at times.

We’ve heard the “G1 is too small for the updates” argument before. Donut was too big, and yet G1ers still got that. Let’s wait and see if Google/T-Mo actually say anything one way or the other before we start another panic/rage, ok?
